MCN Festival: 60 years of historic race bikes in action

See and hear a huge collection of historic machines as they fire up in celebration of MCN’s anniversary year.

Since MCN’s launch in 1955 we’ve ridden and written about everything from the thundering Manx Nortons to the gloriously pungent two-stroke era to the latest digitally- controlled MotoGP machines.

At this year’s MCN Festival of Motorcycling we’re celebrating six decades of fantastic machines with a parade of some the greatest race bikes to have ever rolled down a pit lane.

With the help of the Brackley Motorcycle Festival this stunning line-up not only includes Grand Prix bikes from early to present day but it spans endurance racing, BSB, the TT and even sidecars. The sights, sounds and smells of these iconic machines is sure to bring back memories of a golden era of motorcycling racing. Watch out for a few celebrity riders too.

The Classic Race Bike Parade takes place twice a day on both Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 1.15pm on the parade circuit next to the Maxxis Live Action Arena.

The best place to watch the classic action is on the banking that separates the parade circuit and the Arena.
