Bike of the Day: Yamaha Thunderace

The Thunderace was Yamaha’s 1000cc superbike before the R1 came along, and by today’s standards is a little soft and heavy.
Far from hurting the Thunderace this means it’s an excellent sports touring motorcycle, with the emphasis slightly more on sport. Big, comfy, with a huge spread of power the Thunderace is quickly becoming a bit of a bargain.
This one’s in good nick, has covered relatively few miles and comes with a Yoshimura exhaust.
