The Bimota V-Due was launched in 1997 after eight years of development and was almost universally slated as a rough-running, not particularly fast, oddball motorcycle for rich posers.

But don’t let that put you off, as this example’s only covered 50 miles and is one of the original 16 bikes to make it to the UK. And who doesn’t want a 500cc two-stroke?
