New series of Easy Riders starting

A new six-part series of The Easy Riders starring Red Dwarf and Death in Paradise star Danny John Jules and freestyle stunt rider and model Chesca Miles as they ride five countries in five days and climb a mountain in every country.

The new series will be broadcast for the first time on on Tuesday, February 3 at 10.30pm on the Community Channel and will then be repeated on Fridays at 9.30pm, Sundays at 8.30pm and Mondays at 2.30pm.

This is the third series of The Easy Riders and the riding challenge this time was to ride from the start in France and through Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and ending up in Italy. Along the way the three riders (the third being producer Steve Keys) climbed a mountain in each country.

Keys told MCN: “Without doubt this was the most challenging ride we have undertaken and it pushed all of us far more physically than we could have thought. On paper it sounds easy but, believe me, it was tough. “Who knew it took so long to climb a mountain and then as long to come back down! It really was epic though. The scenery and riding made it all worthwhile.”
