Indian Scout in dealers this weekend

Indian Motorcycles have announced a series of dealer launch events this coming Saturday January 17 to herald the arrival of the excellent new Scout – a middleweight cruiser with handling and pricing that will appeal to riders of many experience levels.

Weighing in wet at 255kg – claimed to be the lightest in its class – the 2015 Indian Scout was a clean sheet design, aimed at creating a potent and precise middle-weight cruiser that pays successful homage to the iconic original.

The 2015 Scout offers a new chassis design for the firm, featuring a lightweight and rigid cast aluminum frame, coupled with a low 643mm seat height for exceptional comfort, balance and manoeuvrability. Powered by a liquid-cooled, 1133cc V-twin punching out a claimed 100bhp and 72.2ftlb or torque, it’s a joy to ride – and feels every bit as powerful as you could want from a mid-size cruiser. ABS is standard equipment.
