Bike of the Day: Yamaha XVZ1300 Venture Royale

Here’s a helluva lot of bike for the money. Short-lived full-dresser was based on V4 Vmax mechanicals (but restyled) in a full-monty, retro-styled, ‘ElectraGlide-esque’ touring package. The result is better riding and equipped than the Harley and cheaper and more distinctive than the equivalent GoldWing. And whichever way you cut it it’s a lot of bike for under £5K.
