Bike of the Day: 2006 Aprilia Tuono 1000R

Second generation V-twin Tuono is basically a naked version of the revamped RSV1000R superbike which blended man-size, hairy-chested performance with classy componentry (though not quite as classy as the top spec ‘Factory’ version) and Italian style.

In fact for some, especially taller types, the V-twin Tuono is still regarded as one of the best super nakeds of all – which makes this mint, 6000-miler at a little over £4K a tempting proposition.
