Close Motor Finance raise £25k for motoring charity

Close Motor Finance, one of the UK’s leading providers of financing for motorbikes, has managed to raise a huge £25,000 for BEN, the motoring industry charity, after a year of fundraising through its UK-wide dealer network.
 
The £25,000 was raised by CMF and their 8000-strong dealer team through activities ranging from 25k runs and chest waxes to bike rides and cake sales, and will be used by BEN to help out those in the industry who find themselves upon hard times.
 
BEN, founded in 1905, takes some £11m to run every year; money spent on providing valuable support like specialist equipment for disabled children, respite care and emotional and practical support during illnesses.
 
James Broadhead, Managing Director of Close Motor Finance, said: “There has been a phenomenal response to supporting BEN for 2013. I’m thankful to all our employees that have got behind the cause wholeheartedly. In particular I would like to thank all of our dealer partners who have got involved in various ways throughout the year.”
