Bike of the Day: 1998 Triumph Thunderbird 900

Although basically a re-styled Trident, Hinckley Triumph’s 1994-2000 T-bird retains a strong following thanks to its strong mechanicals, handsome retro looks, charismatic three-cylinder powertrain and all-round appeal – so much so that prices usually remain on the upside of three grand.

All of which makes this 38,000-miler, at just £1800, a tempting proposition, even with the caveat of ‘needs light cosmetic work’.
