Sorcha Swims the TT

Everyone knows just how long and demanding the TT mountain circuit is. It seems even longer when you swim the equivalent of the 37 3/4 miles.

My eleven-year-old daughter did just that. Last week Sorcha completed this marathon task, done in order to raise money for St John Ambulance First Responders in the Isle of Man.

Followers of the TT will recognise Paul Kermode (the TT flag marshal) waving the chequered flag. When she’s not swimming or horseriding Sorcha is out on her dirt bike.

During last year’s Manx Grand Prix she was helping in the paddock when her older brother Stuart got an 8th place in the Newcomers race.
