HRC to hold Marco Simoncelli presentation

Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) are holding a special presentation in honour of Marco Simoncelli this weekend.

Simoncelli’s father, Paolo, will receive two bikes from Honda:  Marco’s RC212V and a special Honda CBR1000RR.

The two motorcycles will be presented by HRC Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto and Honda Europe Motorcycle Division Director Minoru Kato.

250cc World champion Simoncelli tragically lost his life during a racing incident in Malaysia last October. The Simoncelli Foundation was set up as a non-profit organization, supporting and promoting humanitarian projects to benefit the disadvantaged. 

The Special edition CBR will be auctioned off to raise money for the Foundation and it is not clear what will happen to the RC212V.
