We had a great day at Mallory Park where my son Joe and his new wife Sophia, who suffered a serious blood clot on her brain three years ago, were invited by Mark Jessop of the EMRA to present the winner’s trophy and garland to Richard Cooper after an impressive win on his Triumph in the Buildbase race.

Richard later gave Joe and Sophia his hard-earned garland and chatted to them for some time. Thanks also to Helen Lovell of Mallory Park for arranging it all just 24 hours after they were married.

All of the people we met were representative of the great great people involved in motorcycling.
