The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship reaches its climax on 7-9 October at Brands Hatch as the leading six Title Fighter riders battle for the last time in their quest to become champion.

John Hopkins took the early advantage in the final three round Showdown with a double win at Donington Park to take a narrow three point lead from Swan Yamaha’s Tommy Hill who will be determined to come out all guns blazing at his home round.

Former double champion Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne won at Brands Hatch earlier in the season for HM Plant Honda and won’t want to settle for anything less as he prepares to fight off the challenges from Michael Laverty and Josh Brookes. Whilst Ryuichi Kiyonari is still defending his title as the sixth of the Title Fighters as he aims to end his season on a high.
