RAF team prepare for TT after Afghanistan interruption

A trio of RAF staff are frantically preparing a Kawasaki ZX-10R and Honda CBR600RR for the TT in June after their plans were disrupted by one of their team being deployed to Afghanistan.

The team took the bikes for a shakedown at RAF Lyneham last week, and persevered despite a routine training exercise by RAF firefighters (hence the apocalyptic photo).

The TT starts on May 30, with racing finishing on June 10.
