Free Akrapovic pipes and 0% finance on Yamaha YZF-R1

Yamaha is offering interest free credit over three years on new YZF-R1s and a set of Akrapovic silencers worth £1000 for a limited period.

The offer is only valid on 2009 and 2010 models but does go someway to making up for the 25% surge in price of the crossplane crankshaft R1 since it was launched in 2009 which now lists at £13,399.

The R1 is just one of most Japanese bikes that have risen hugely in price over the past three years as a result of the exchange rate and material costs.

You can put down a minimum £99 deposit and then repay the rest over three years with no interest.
