Met mount up on a Moto Guzzi

London’s Metropolitan Police are running an upgraded Moto Guzzi Norge GT 1200 as part of their fleet, a spokesman has announced.

The police-spec 92bhp v-twin will be used to publicise the Met’s “BikeSafe” campaign, taking part in public training days and appearing at shows.

Loaned to the force by Piaggio UK and Haywards of Cambridge, the 244kg tourer is loaded with all relevant police equipment and cameras.
