Day of Champions auction about to kick off

The climax of the charity Day of Champions event at Silverstone circuit is about to kick off with the charity auction of MotoGP racers’ donated items.

Many of the stars of the MotoGP paddock; both racers and teams; have donated items for the Day of Champions event which opens the paddock to paying fans with all money going to the Riders for Health charity.

As well as a classic bike demonstration ride, hundreds of bikes were involved in a ride in and lap of the famous Silverstone MotoGP circuit earlier today. Chat shows, quiz shows, music, entertainment and a chance to get up close to the stars makes Day of Champions an unmissable event each year.

The charity auction kicks off at 4.30pm and runs until 8.30pm with many of the top racers including Valentino Rossi involved.
