Motorrad Central Scotland has beeen working closely with Simon Pavey, Dakar Champ and BMW’s Off Road Director, to bring the Extreme experience to the Knockhill circuit in Scotland on 27-28 August.

With the complete off-road fleet being brought to Scotland for the first time, you can join in the Off-Road Adventure led by Pavey and his team.

Don’t worry if you haven’t ridden off-road before, there will be beginner, intermediate and expert levels along with a choice of BMW models including the R1200GS, F800GS, F650GS and G650X.

Pavey said “I’m very excitied to be involved in the Extreme Event in partnership with Motorrad Central Scotland this August. It’s a great opportunity to bring a variety of different motorcycles into one environment. We will have opportunities for people to ride off road, to ride the track and to ride some beautiful Scottish roads all in one weekend. What’s more it should be a great social event, which after all is the best part of the motorcycling world. Hope to see you all there.”

Track sessions

The dealerships will have a number of BMW S1000RR bikes for you to ride on the track under the expert guidance of past road and track champions Terry Rymer, Iain Duffus and Brian Morrison to name but a few.

Track Day vouchers are available now so you can have the chance to take your own bike on the track.

Pirelli UK Tyre Test

Test the latest Pirelli and Metzeler tyres on the track and road on the full BMW Motorrad UK Demo fleet.

With Pirelli UK’s Tyre technical crew on hand to answer any questions you may have on what’s the best rubber for your machine. Motorrad Central will also have the Pirelli Girls on hand to add a bit of glamour to the weekend.

There will be lots to do for all the family with live bands from Rock Radio, the MCN Road Show, Scottoiler, Touratech and Adventure Bike Warehouse or come and try your wheelie skills on a ‘wheelie machine’.
