Festival of 1000 Bikes: Freddie Spencer sent back to US

Rumours suggest Freddie Spencer has been put on a flight straight back to the US due to irregularities with his visa.

The GP star had landed at Heathrow prior to appearing at this weekend’s Festival of 1000 Bikes, organised by the VMCC. He’d been due to ride a Honda NS500 in the event’s “Past Masters” track feature on Sunday, his first outing at Mallory in almost 30 years.
