There are just two tantalising weeks to go before the 2011 racing season kicks off in Phillip Island, and that means there’s just a nine days left to pick your Fantasy Road Race team!

The website is live, it takes just seconds to register and once you’ve filled in your details you can fettle your team to your heart’s content, right up until the 26 February deadline.

This year’s star prize, awarded to the team owner with the most points at the end of the season, is a 50th anniversary edition 2011 Yamaha YZF-R125.

Combining a flexible four-stroke motor, proven chassis and big-bike looks, the £4249 YZF is the perfect introduction to sports bikes. It’s physically bigger than the R6 it was inspired by, making it ideal for taller riders.

The stunning Yamaha 50th anniversary paint job is worth an extra £1500, taking the total value of this year’s prize to an impressive £5800.

New for 2011 is the MCE BSB Leaderboard, where your BSB riders points are separated from your overall score and a pair of MCE BSB tickets will be awarded for the winner of each round.
