Destination dealer: George White’s Blast weekend!

It’s that time of year again, when Spring is springing, bikes are revving up for summer and The Blast – George White’s world famous Open Weekend – is with us once more.

It’ll be another fantastic weekend of biking personalities, thrills, spills, adrenalin-filled fun and the kind of bargains for which the UK’s favourite motorcycle dealer has become famous.

The British Superbike championship paddock will be descending on Swindon once again for this year’s Blast, with Honda’s three-time BSB champion Ryuichi Kiyonari in pole position.

Lining up alongside him on the grid for Saturday 16 April will be Kawasaki riders Gary Mason and Stuart Easton, together with Steve Brogan, James Westmoreland, Glen Richards and Chris Walker.

On Sunday 17 April, BSB stars Tommy Hill, Michael Laverty and Josh Brookes will be joining in the fun, as the Kawasaki riders and Chris Walker stay on to meet more race fans.

To make it a fully authentic BSB race weekend, the Swan Yamaha and MSS Kawasaki race trucks will be parked up at George White, along with helmet service units from Arai, Shark and Shoei – so don’t forget to drop your lid in at the beginning of the day.
