Italian firm Spyke is unleashing a massive range of kit in 2011. Here we’ve chosen to share a few of the firm’s new race suits, with their specs.

Raptor
Water-repellent 1.2/1.3mm cow leather and water-repellent 0.9/1mm kangaroo
leather. Inserts in stretch Aramid fibre, removable lining.

Outer plastic armour and padding on shoulders and knees. Removable CE-approved shoulder, elbow, knee and shin protectors. Pocket for back protector. Side padding.

Kangaroo leather inserts on shoulders, sleeves, sides, leg, calf. Perforated cow leather on front area, sleeves, legs and calves. Leather flex zones on shoulder blades, back of the waist and knees.

Flex Aramid fibre inserts on arms, crotch and back of the knees. High-strength stretch fabric inserts on sides and stomach. Aerodynamic back support. Double layer of leather on sides and back of trousers.

Anti-shock pads on collarbone and arms. Removable net lining with stretch fabric zones. Flat-look zip wrist and ankle closure with auto-lock slider. Two internal pockets. Knesliders.

Skin
Water-repellent 1.2/1.3 mm cow leather. Inserts in stretch Aramid fibre. Removable inner lining. Ergonomic plastic outer shoulder protectors. Removable CE-approved shoulder, elbow, knee and shin protectors. Pocket for back protector. Side padding.
