This is reflected in the shop’s overall mantra of “if we wouldn’t ride it, wear it, or buy it ourselves we won’t sell it – whether it’s a 20 grand bike or a 20 quid pair of gloves!”

The clothing and accessories department is just about to undergo a huge expansion which should be completed before Christmas. You can choose from a wide range of official Ducati and Kawasaki merchandise as well as class leading brands such as RST, AGV, Arlen Ness and Berik.

Italia Moto was formed in 1989 and recently celebrated its 21st birthday. The dealership has a lifelong tie with Ducati, so the wealth of experience is huge. The Other Bike Shop – or Tob’s – was formed a little later in 1998 initially selling Japanese part-ex bikes from Italia as well as Peugeot scooters. In 2007 they took on the Kawasaki franchise.

In February 2009 both shops came under one roof when at last they managed to secure the premises they’d been after for 15 years! They now enjoy spacious showrooms on the edge of Lincoln city centre with excellent parking and accessibility.

As if the friendly welcoming staff, beautifully presented stock and free refreshments weren’t enough to ensure a visit, there is the fact that Lincoln is surrounded by some of Britain’s best loved biking roads, attracting bikers from far and wide. So the next time you’re in the area just call in.
