Copping, a free Triumph!

A Triumph fan has won a free Thunderbird 1600 after taking part in a competition in Suffolk.

Julian Copping, a regular customer at Lings Triumph in Ipswich, took up an invitation to test ride a Thunderbird in the summer and has now been pulled out of the hat to win a Thunderbird he can call his own.
 
“It’s a wonderful machine – a typically well built Triumph with all the punch you’d expect from a big-bored cruiser,” said Sean Stapleton, Manager of Lings Triumph, who handed over the keys to Mr. Copping’s new motorcycle.
 
“Julian has been a customer for years, and until now rode a Triumph Scrambler – based on the motorcycle Steve McQueen made famous in The Great Escape.”
