Video: Carole Nash Motorcycle Live launch

London’s famous Centrepoint building played host to a bunch of motorcycling VIPs last night for the launch of Carole Nash Motorcycle Live.

The star-studded event to officially launch the forthcoming Carole Nash Motorcycle Live show saw WSB riders Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea mixing with last weekend’s 125GP winner Bradley Smith, former member of boy band Blue, Simon Webb, Hollyoaks honey Gemma Atkinson and the BBC MotoGP commentary team of Steve Parrish, Matt Roberts and Jennie Gow.

Barry Sheene’s wife Stephanie Sheene and daughter Sidonie Sheene flew in from Australia to publicise the £100,000 Icon Sheene bike.

Runner-up in the WSB championship and newly signed BMW rider Leon Haslam said: “I’ve always been to the show with my dad, Ron, and we’ve always loved it. It’s a great chance for me to meet my fans and say thanks for the support.”

Chief Executive of the Motorcycle Industry Association, Steve Kenward said: “We’ve listened to the feedback from our customers at last year’s show and they said they wanted more bikes, action and things happening and we’ve given them all of  that. Whatever kind of bikes you’re into we have something for everyone.”

Carole Nash Motorcycle Live takes place between November 27 and December 5 at the NEC in Birmingham and has 38 manufacturers displaying new bikes.

MCN will be bringing you daily video updates from the event throughout the show.
