Here, to whet your appetite, is the firm’s Defender jacket (£499.99) and trousers (£369.99).

The textile adventure suit uses Gore-Tex Performance Shell technology to make it waterproof and breathable. There’s a removable thermal lining, CE-approved armour at shoulders, elbows and knees, and the pair zip together.

The kit appears to be almost infinitely adjustable. There are also plenty of pockets. Colours available are black, silver/red, silver/black or silver/’safari’.
