Shakey ties the knot

New HMPlant Honda BSB signing Shane Byrne had another reason to celebrate last week when he got married to his long time partner Petra Liskova.

In true Shakey fashion his wedding was a classy affair and took place exactly five years to the day after his first ever date with Petra at the same venue. The day started with Shakey flying himself into the Kent county house in a helicopter.

He said: “Last Thursday Petra and I finally got married, we had a mega day and an even better party that night, everything was absolutely perfect and I’m extremely happy and proud to be able to finally call her my wife.

“The day was great, I felt really calm all morning but the first time I saw her in her dress she looked so amazing and I got a bit flustered! The bottom lip was going and everything for a minute but I managed to get it together pretty quick. She really did look like a princess and as for our son, well, he may only be two years old but he lit up the dance floor, he had everyone in stitches, I’m almost convinced somebody slipped a little bit of red bull or something into him, I’ve never seen anything like it!”
