Video: Haslams and F1 car lap Silverstone

Leon and Ron Haslam officially opened the new 3.66-mile Silverstone GP track last week. And to honour the occasion Silverstone has just given us incredible footage of the father and son team taking their first laps of the track, stalked by David Coulthard in a Red Bull Formula One car. 

World Superbike championship leader Leon is riding his own Suzuki GSX-R1000, and road bike GP legend Ron is riding one of his school’s Honda FireBlades. 

Ron secured a podium at the track in the 1984 500GP.
