As you might expect for that sort of money, it’s a very well appointed piece of kit.

The suit has an Armacor shell – a combination of Kevlar and Cordura fibres – which is claimed to offer excellent abrasion protection. It also has CE approved armour throughout.

A Gore-Tex Pro Shell three-layer laminate keeps out the rain, and there’s a breathable mesh lining and detachable insulated inner.

The Armax suit is also fully machine washable and comes with a five-year warranty.
