Men & Motors closing down

Digital TV channel Men & Motors will be closing down for good at 6am on April 1st. ITV – who own the channel – want to instead use the channel space for their HD broadcasts.

The channel, which started broadcasting in 1996, enjoyed a brief spell on free-to-air digital television, but was soon replaced. Men & Motors has shown many biking related shows such as ‘Bike Cops UK’, ‘2 Wheels Xtra’ and ‘All The Gear & No Idea’ during it’s existence. It has also been involved in showing the Isle of Man TT, getting exclusive UK coverage rights in 2002.
