Snow Bike, S'no fun!

This is a picture of my bike covered in snow after I’d abandoned it on my way home from work on Tuesday night.

It was fine when I left in Chichester,West Sussex. It started sleeting by Havant. I got up to the A3, for Waterlooville it was terrible, snow had already settled.

Coming off the slip road struggling to get up the hill riding, pushing it, riding and pushing it, both feet slipping I felt lucky to still be upright so I thought I would stop and not ride any further as it was getting ridiculous.

Cars were already being abandoned. Ijust wanted to say a big thanks to Alistair and another chap (both whom I’d never met before) who rescued me and helped me push my bike to a safer place off the main road and even let me keep it in his garage till the snow was gone.

Thanks to them both, I am so grateful.
