New limited edition McQueen off-road lid

Troy Lee Designs have announced a three-year deal to produce a limited edition range of Steve McQueen helmets.

The Troy Lee/Lucas Oil/Honda Racing team of Wil Hahn and Cole Seely wore the new lid at last weekend’s AMA supercross round at Anaheim, California.

Chad McQueen, Steve’s son, said: “My dad was an avid motorcyclist and huge supporter of the sport; it’s great to see his love for motorcycling live on through new limited edition helmets.”

The limited run of 700 helmets will cost $525 (£325) each and will be avilable in June this year from www.troyleedesigns.com.
