Yoshimura release exhaust for 2010 Yamaha YZ450F

Yoshimura’s new RS-4 exhaust systems for the fuel-injected 2010 Yamaha YZ450F have been developed using experience gained from racing, offering what Yoshimura calls: “great horsepower gains, weight savings, and of course, that great Yoshimura look.”

The RS-4 has a pentagonal-shaped end can with a carbon-fibre end cap.

There’s a 96dB spark arrester baffle as stock, with the option of an MX 99dB baffle and a 94dB insert for stricter noise-controlled tracks.

The system costs £529.47 in stainless, £973.97 in titanium and £1092.81 in carbon-fibre.

It’s likely that only the stainless version will be available in the UK, with a slip-on option also available (at £407.70) from May.
