Here’s my picks of the week to suit any budget:    

Yamaha SuperTenere

UNDER £1000 – 2000 Suzuki GS500, £895
15,055 miles, MOT until May, good all round condition.
We say: Low miles and appears in decent nick, useful fairing. Ideal cheap first or winter bike.

 

Kawasaki ZX-6R

UNDER £2000 – 2001 Suzuki SV650, £1325
11,600 miles, recent tyres, Hagon fork springs, 12 months MOT.
We say: Looks nice in standard trim, fork spring upgrade is desirable.

 

Yamaha R1

UNDER £3000 – 2001 Honda X-11, £2850
Service history, 21,186 miles, new front tyre, beautiful condition.
We say: 130bhp naked. Beautifully made, if a little wobbly handling.

 

Triumph Sprint ST

UNDER £4000 – 2004 Kawasaki ZX-12R, £3200
Excellent condition, partial service history, 12 months Mot, 15,000 miles.
We say: Nice hyperbike, but owner insistent on price.

 

Honda Hornet 600

UNDER £5000 – 2001 Ducati 996, £4100
Full service history, plenty of extras, five months MOT and foru months tax.
We say: Looks in great nick.

 

Harley XR1200

UNDER £6000 – MV Agusta 910R, £5500
3000 miles, excellent condition, FSH, 12 months MOT, 12 months tax.
We say: Bargain loony Italian supernaked.
