Nikwax launches 'Black Waterproofing Wax for Leather'

Nikwax’s new Black Waterproofing Wax for Leather is claimed to immediately waterproof and polish wet or dry footwear.

One application is said to reduce the water absorbency of leather without hindering breathability, keeping feet dry.

The ingredients in the wax are claimed to nourish the leather to retain its suppleness without oversoftening. The makers say it will also maintain colour, reduce scuff and abrasion marks and even adds to or enhance shine.

It can be used on all smooth black leather footwear, is solvent-free, water-based and costs £2.99 for 60ml; £3.99 for 100ml.
