Weise unveil new winter hand-warmers

Weise has two new winter glove options in its range of riding apparel, reportedly following the results of a recent study.

University research reveals that a minor drop in body temperature can significantly increase reaction and information processing times; a dangerous prospect when riding during the winter months.

It is therefore crucial to choose suitable winter riding kit, paying particular attention to the extremities.

Both the Oslo and Aspen gloves feature Thinsulate thermal inners, Tri- fleece linings and Hipora waterproof and breathable membranes, to ensure hands and fingers are kept warm and dry during chilly winter rides.

Adjustable Velcro retained straps at wrist and cuff on the Oslo also help prevent cold air and water from seeping into the glove.

Elasticated wrists, stretch panels and flexible leather and nylon construction ensure maximum comfort and movement, whilst aiding circulation to the fingers.

Carbon reinforcement at the knuckles and tough, full-grain leather panels throughout add to the quality feel.

Reflective striping is also incorporated, to increase visibility in low light conditions.

Weise Oslo gloves are available in sizes S – 4XL in black/white retailing at £59.99, while the Aspen glove, suitable for the more budget-conscious rider, sells for £39.99.
