Riding on the pavement

We park our bikes at work on the hard-standing forecourt in front of our office.

To do this we have to cross the pavement. We are directly opposite the Police station, we have been here over 10 years, they have never said anything.

As far as I am concerned if you are being considerate to pedestrians why should you not be able to do it ? We also park our cars there.

We cannot get a dropped kerb because we are too close to the traffic lights. So the authorities have turned a blind eye.

For this reason I would rather not disclosed our exact whereabouts.
