Britain’s got biking talent: Golem’s Max

1 of 1

Golem’s Max is the third finalist in the Britain’s got biking talent with Carole Nash competition.

Owner: Anthony Hatfield, 47, Derby

Why this bike? I’ve been riding for 31 years and when I first started there were lots of individual bikes out there, now you are hard pressed to tell the difference between them.

I wanted something unique, and I’d had a Yamaha V-Max in 1990, but had to sell it. I always said I’d build my own bike one day, and this was what was in my head.

Modifications: They include a TaylorMade 330 rear wheel, monoshock rear suspension, extended R1 forks, custom made body work, including second fuel tank, motogadget  speedo, PFM front brakes with six pot calliper and Harris calliper at rear, one off exhaust.

Favourite thing: Echoed a V-shape throughout the design

The competition: The overall winner of the Britain’s got biking talent with Carole Nash competition will be crowned at the Carole Nash NEC Bike Show
on Thursday November 26.

All 12 bikes will be on show at the Britain’s got biking talent stand (location 2B15) all week.

You will be able to pick up a free calendar featuring all 12 finalists at the Carole Nash stand (location 2C20).

If you can’t make it to the show, but would still like a calendar log on to http://www.carolenash.com/biketalent_cal.asp to order one at a small cost.
