Newcastle to Land's End for charity

I am completing a solo motorbike ride from 25th June to 28th June charity from Newcastle to Land’s End and back.

The charity I’m raising funds for the Children’s Heart Unit Fund which are based on Ward 23, Freeman Hospital based in Newcastle. My daughter was born with several holes in her heart, her heart valves the wrong way round and she also has 1 lung. I raised funds last year by holding a fund raisier and was assisted by Leon Haslam and James Toseland who both sent some signed items which where then auctioned off via Ebay (MCN had the items on the website).

My daughter will require more surgery this year so will probably not hold a fundraising event as doctors not sure when, hence my ride to raise funds this year.

I’m currently setting up a web page for any sponsors to donate on www.justgiving.com and will update this story once the charity have registered on the Just Giving website.
