Desmosedici RR sighting

When the story broke about Ducati going into manufacture of the GP9 or Desmosedici RR as it’s stamped on the bike, I only ever thought it would be a bike I’d get to see on show stands…

A bike so special, you can picture the few they ever made being bought by collectors and the deep filled pockets of rich tycoons. Men so important, they didn’t need to queue outside the Ducati showrooms like desperate girls at 6am on a cold Saturday morning for that special dress in the Next sale!

I live in a (fairly) quiet part of the world, Weston-super-Mare, or at least I did until our Pier burnt down and we were splashed all over the national news. In Weston, I live in a quiet rural village, with no more than a few hundred houses in and I’m probably one of five bikers. Whilst out and about this weekend I met a chap who I’m sure the biking nation will envy and I was no exception.

Turns out rich tycoons live closer than you think!! Like the house around the corner… Still, you’d think with all that money he would at least wear full leathers…
