Smash up a biker for only £150.00

I was outraged to hear that the driver of a car who caused my son Gareth serious injuries, got away with paying £150 for a driver awareness course and all prosecution was dropped!

After talking to fellow bikers it seems this is now the norm, It’s beyond belief! I wonder how many of you have had the same thing happen? The driver in question drove off a pavement where she was parked with no lights on the vehicle and did a U-turn in the road without any indication and also crossed a no enter zone. All at night and in inclemment conditions. To cap it all she tried to play the ‘biker was speeding’ card but to no avail as my son had just gone through a static speed camera proving his innocence.

What infuriates me is after two major operations on his face and jaw, after 14 months he is still suffering and now has to undergo surgery yet again. We have now been told he will suffer for the rest of his life! and all the driver had to pay was £150.
