The 2-day course is designed with novice off roaders and road riders in mind, so this is the perfect opportunity to learn to ride in the dirt even if you’ve never ventured off tarmac before.   

The riding skills covered include: 

• Learning to lift, balance and manoeuvre a motorcycle in awkward situations
• Manoeuvring the motorcycle at slow speeds, and clutch control exercises
• Improved braking ability
• Ascending and descending hills safely and confidently
• Trail riding on gravel fire roads and dirt tracks

Dakar veteran Simon Pavey will also be making an appearance at the MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show March 14-15. Pavey will be displaying his Walker Ecosse Dakar Truck, giving show goers a glimpse at the effort that goes into racing the world famous rally. Click here to book tickets.
