I was also issued with an ASBO

A similar thing happened to me in July 2007 when I was travelling through a village in North Wales called Pentrefoellas very close to a acccident blackspot called Padog Bends.

I was travelling through the village at 37mph when all I could hear and see in my mirrors was a Police Volvo estate car with it’s siren blaring away and blue lights anywhere, if anyone at that particular time was causing a disturbance it was this particular Police officer.

I had been stoped I was sure for my illegal number plate (1″ smaller than required but visible quite clearly from the legal required distance.)

I pointed out to the officer that I had been stopped 30 miles back on the Horseshoe pass and had been issued with the relevant ticket already.

Undaunted by this he then pursued my exhaust then the fact that he thought I was speeding (as if I would admit that) then he radioed into his headquarters and said he was issueing an article 59 for an ASBO.

It would be better if the police conducted themselves in the right manner rather than singling out motorcyclists who are doing nothing other than pursuing their favourite pastime.

If I had been breaking the law then I deserved a ticket, but just because he had made a pratt of himself he uses his authority in a childish manner. He might have been better sitting in a high chair with his beloved rattle dropped on the floor.

I must point out that not all the North Wales Police act in this manner, some are acually human.
