Evolution of Dainese's airbag

Rossi and Lorenzo might not have been wearing their Dainese airbag suits when they needed them at the recent British GP, opting only to use the technology in qualifying sessions on Saturday.    

But if you were wondering what it looks like when it goes off here’s a video of the evolution of the many incarnations of the D-Air suit, finishing with the current technology being demonstrated by 125GP rider Michael Ranseder crashing in the 125 GP at Jerez earlier in 2009 and Guy Martin testing it at the 2009 Isle of Man TT.
