Wannabe motorcycle racers can cut the cost of sitting the ACU’s Competitor Training Course if they buy a top-of-the-range Arai RX-7 GP helmet during 2009.

The course usually costs £50, but Arai’s UK importer Phoenix will send a £25 voucher to anyone who buys the RX-7 from an official Arai dealer, and who fills in an online application form.

The CTC is the ACU’s equivalent of the road-going CBT, and must be completed by anyone who wants to compete in road races in the UK.
