Honda extends 'Brave the Elements' deal

Honda is extending its ‘brave the elements’ scheme this winter, by extending the current offer on four of its most popular motorcycle models until 31 March 2009.

Honda’s VFR800 VTEC sports-tourer, NT700V Deauville tourer, XL1000V Varadero adventure machine (all in either standard or ABS versions), as well as the XL700VA Transalp, all come with a free 45-litre colour matched top-box and 360-degree heated grips – the added carrying capacity and heated grips providing the perfect combination for riding through the winter.

The VFR800 – in Honda’s range since 1986 is now available with ‘Brave The Elements’, priced at £7,755 and £8,538 for the standard and ABS versions respectively.

The NT700V Deauville has become popular with commuters, paramedics and police forces across the globe. The top-box adds to the standard machine’s load-carrying potential, thanks to the panniers which come as standard, while the ABS option offers further peace of mind for optimal braking in all weather conditions. The Deauville is available at £6,287 for the standard model and £6,679 for the ABS equipped version.

Honda’s XL1000V Varadero has provided 996cc V-twin power and versatility for a decade and is now available for 2009 in Barley Yellow Metallic. The standard machine retails at £6,825 with the added assurance of ABS available at £7,364.

The long-serving XL700VA Transalp first entered Honda’s range in 1987. The new in 2008 model featured a host of updates including greater power from the enlarged 680cc 52-degree V-twin as well as the introduction of ABS as standard.

The Transalp retails at £5,504, with 2009 seeing a new tri-colour paint scheme with gold wheels, also available in the ‘Brave The Elements’ offer.
