Carve your way through the snow with this bolt-on kit

1 of 2

We’ve all been struggling to get in during the bad weather but this conversion kit from 2moto could have us praying for more days of snow.

The kit costs $4250 (£2,910 at the current exchange rate) and they say you can put it on in just two hours. The front wheel of your bike is replaced with a ski and the rear is swapped out for a track with built in suspension system. The top speed of the bike after the conversion is supposed to be the same, but the fastest they have ever gone is just over 90mph.

It’s not even a permanent conversion so when the snow disappears again you can just turn your Supermoto back into a normal motorcycle and carry on as usual.

2moto make kits to fit a range of off-road focused bikes but sadly there are no plans for an R1 or Hayabusa version at the moment.

Have a look at http://2moto.com/ for more details and to see some excellent videos of the kit in action.

If that wasn’t enough in 2 days’ time, 2moto will be sponsoring Ground Zero the world’s first snowbike race event, it’s just a shame it’s the wrong side of the pond.
