Heads-up visor displays get closer

With orders now being taken on ski goggles featuring a heads-up, real-time display that shows location, speed, elevation and loads more, Canadian firm Recon Instruments is looking to bring its technology to the off-road enduro market and even road-going helmet visors.

So, is it a good thing that we need never look at our dashboards again, or will having too much going on in your field of vision be a bad thing for concentration, and therefore safety?
