Billy Joel’s café-racer Royal Enfield

This is the custom-build café racer Royal Enfield built for legendary musician Billy Joel.

Built by Royal Enfield’s US importer, the drum-braked Bullet 500 based-machine features a 1960’s style fairing and single seat unit finished in orange with polished aluminium tank.

Clip-on handlebars, rearsets and a peashooter silencer on a diagonal header complete the retro style.

Joel is a keen motorcyclist – the Piano Man featured in an episode of reality TV show American Chopper where he had a one-off chopper built by Orange County Choppers.
