Website launched to help bikers who are victims of theft and fraud

A new website has been launched, which aims to help motorcyclists who have been victims of theft or fraud.

www.motorbikecrime.com has been created by Phil Swift, the insurance industry’s claims expert and Dr. Ken German the motorcycle industry’s bike theft specialist as a helpline for bikers who have had their bikes stolen or taken through fraud.

Stolen registration documents (V5’s) are also listed if any rider is worried about whether they have been given one with their new motorcycle.

Dr Ken German said: “This free site is most welcome and it comes at a time when the recovery of stolen motorcycles is pretty poor. I hope motorcyclists use it as I am sure it will offer them the assistance they need should they fall victim to theft or fraud”.
